random thought

i actually went to get my car washed today. automatic of course. it's still to cold to play with the water hose and scrub brush, and i spent all my dimes and quarters on today's sunday news paper... any-who... after the 80+ inches of snow and ice we've had in the past few months, i was able to sneak into a auto car wash line that hadn't quite yet reached a 1/2 mile waiting length. (it was that long by the time i got through)! all in an attempt to clean off 3 months worth of eroding salt, buildup and junk from around and under my car. all that to say, sitting inside a car wash, watching the foam and the jet sprayers and the mist hitting the vehicle... it really isn't fun to do by yourself. this used to be something my and my brother and sister used to FIGHT over growing up... who had the best view out of the mini-van window to watch the man-made rain storm. we loved it!... and it's kinda fun to kiss my hubby in the dark tunnel now when we go together... i've just always been entertained (for a whole 3 minutes!) by automatic car washes. but by yourself... its just kinda creepy and claustrophobic... and i'm not even usually like that. wonder why. so, in conclusion, i think from here on, i'll do automatic car washes with someone else - always!!
