it's too soon!

i'm only day 365 into being married, and am in denial about what happened today... i must precursor this with the fact that i DID go out with my girls last night to a karaoke bar, and i DID have a date night tonight to go see a $9 movie! (NINE DOLLARS! sheesh! - but Hugh Jackman as Wolverine is just HOTT)... and i DO stay up past 10:00 most nights! ...all that to say... today... i got excited... about the grocery store. *gasp of horror* ...how embarrassing! this can't be happening at such an early stage in life! the symptoms of boring life-ness usually don't show themselves for most folks until much later in life,... you know, like mid-30s!! man!! well, not only did my saturday start out with yard saleing, but i got pumped about triple coupon day at our grocery store... so much that i even broke my weekly routing of grocery shopping on sunday afternoons to hit those two-buggy wide isles 24 hours earlier! clipped coupons in hand (and organized in order, according to which isle of food came first in my routine path of the store), i headed in with all the soccer moms, gray haired grandmas, and every other middle aged woman you could think of. wow... and to think i looked forward to this day. my triple coupons sure did save me $35 in groceries though! yee-haw! and to top it all off, because i'd been such a loyal shopper for the past 14 out of 16 weeks, i earned myself 2 free $25 gas cards! i'm tellin ya, it was like christmas today! i feel like my only saving grace was the fact that i am trendy enough to use the "green" reusable grocery bags... maybe tomorrow i'll live on the wild side and get my heart rate tested at the free pump in the local walmart pharmacy!
