other than that, birthday highlights included lots of fun people wishing me a good day on facebook, some unique versions of the happy birthday song on my voicemail, and "the usual" sunday routine - church, laziness, gym, grocery store, and laundry - further confirmation that i'm aging into boredom nicely. i did have a good friend invite us over for a super bowl birthday dinner though, which was actually fun. my twin-less birthday was topped off with some homemade chocolate cake and a few cheesy commercials. ...i got to think back to the last time the super bowl fell on my birthday. the thought makes me laugh a little. junior year in college - 21st birthday, in the student union on campus at a super bowl party with the pa
nthers playing... some other team. our only shot at the super bowl thus far, and the infamous half time show of justin timberlake and janet jackson... on the campus' big screen. haha.well... speaking of body art... as a final commemoration to my turning a quarter, i decided the time had come (and maybe past already) to remove the ever out of style-ish belly ring. *gasp*... i know... hard to believe that i still even had it in huh? well, ode to my senior "bad girl" year in high school - only the 3rd girl in my graduating class to get her belly ring pierced - through the excited encouragement of my good friend to flatten myself out on a steal tattoo parlor table. over the past 7 years the decor of my tummy has run the gamut from rainbow jewelry, to dangley droplets that were dangerous while wearing jeans, to the most beloved "mood stone" belly ring - that TOTALLY knew when i was in a bad mood, to the classic lime green stone that has held its place for way too long. well, one day in the far distant future when being preggers becomes a reality, i'll only have a hole the size of a golf ball in my stomach instead of a football. *whew* close call! - thanks to my love and desire to set off metal detectors though, i still have 8 other holes in my ears to attempt my uniquely boring (aka 25 year old) style with though.
